The following therapists offer therapy services in Middle Tennessee Schools.

Angela States, M.S., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Angela received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences in 2002 from Eastern Illinois University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Illinois State University in 2004. She completed internships in school, hospital, and outpatient settings. She has five years of experience in the public school setting and 4 years in the private practice setting.

Angela's professional areas of interest include articulation disorder, language disordered, dyslexia, autism, augmentative communication, and early intervention. She is certified in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and attended the Use Visual Strategies workshop taught by Linda Hodgdon in 2007. Angela is licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Tennessee and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Angela moved to Nashville from Illinois in July of 2006. Angela and her husband Kevin live in south Nashville with their two daughters Isabella and Zoe. Angela enjoys playing with her daughters on her days off.
